Thank you for staying on top of the weekly Sissons news. We hope that our families had a safe and happy break, and that everyone had a chance to enjoy the natural surroundings. The big news of this week is Camp de Neige.
Camp de Neige
Our 2021 Camp de Neige is a ‘go’. Thanks very much to Mme. Julie and the other staff volunteers for their work in getting things up and running for our students. Monday starts with our Kindergartens, Junior Kindergartens and Grade 1s. Please do remember to dress your children in anticipation of the weather conditions and to check the Environment Canada forecast in the morning as you get them ready for school. We will have some snacks available on site, but all students must come with enough food for the day, including a lunch, as there is no facility on-site to provide one for them.
Buses leave promptly at 8:45 in the morning (for the morning groups) and all students must be at school by that time. There are no supplementary buses after that time.
Please take a look at the full note that was circulated before Spring Break in order to refresh your memory about what we have planned. We are still looking for donations of snacks for the groups who will participate on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. If you can help us out, please send your donations to school with your child by Tuesday.
We are looking forward to having our students enjoy themselves outdoors, and also to revive a long-standing school tradition.
Reminder - Short Week
Please remember that this week and next are short weeks as a result of Good Friday and Easter Monday. That also means that our next edition of Cette Semaine will be on the evening of Monday, April 5th.
Construction Photo of the Week
Construction of the new school is moving along nicely. Starting with this week’s Cette Semaine, we will post a weekly picture showing the progress towards completion of the school. We hope you enjoy them.
We don’t have any community announcements for this week.
