Happy New Year to everyone! Classes resume tomorrow, January 4th at 8:30 PM. We hope that all of our students and their families had a restful and enjoyable winter break. There has certainly been a lot of new recently about approval of COVID vaccines, coupled with some of the challenges faced in other parts of the country. So far, we have been lucky enough to only have a few cases in the Territories. But, we aren’t out of the woods yet. We would like to remind everyone that our public health routines remain the same as they did before the break. So remember, when students come into the school tomorrow morning, it’s back to work, masks on, and hands sanitized.
HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE UPDATE
Our holiday food drive was a big success. While we don’t have a final count of what was donated, we do know that it took several days and trips to load things into Mme Jasmine’s car. Thank you very much to you, our community, for your generous donations. Thanks also to Mme Jasmine and her students for taking this in hand. Their efforts certainly paid off!
DRESSING FOR THE WEATHER
Our school is proud of its CEPA program, bringing students outside to continue learning about our environment, but also addressing the regular curriculum through their CEPA studies. This means that students will go outside even when it is cold (at any temperature above -30 degrees C). Warm clothing is essential so please remind your children to dress for the expected weather conditions.
