Cette Semaine à Sissons - le 26 au 30 octobre, 2020 - Updated

Hello to our Sissons families and extended community. Here is the school news for this week! Thanks for checking us out and staying up-to-date!

Halloween Celebrations

Many teachers are planning Halloween celebrations in their classes this year. While things might look a little differently, we will do our best to give the students an enjoyable day. Teachers and students are certainly permitted to wear costumes on Friday, October 30th. Classes may also organize their own celebrations. Teachers will be sure to let you know of any special requirements, including any dietary concerns in the class. We also ask that you help your child choose a costume that is appropriate for school. We recognize that there may be ghosts, goblins, vampires and other creatures about that day. However, we ask for costumes not to be too violent or frightening for young children. If you have a question about your child's costume or any props they might want to bring for it, please check in with their teacher.

Subway Orders

Our next Subway Day is Thursday, November 5th. That means that orders must be in by Tuesday, November 3rd. Thanks very much to our PAC for organizing this!

Message from the PAC - Annual PAC Survey

Please take a few moments to complete this survey from the JHS Parent Advisory Council. It will help the PAC plan activities and events for the upcoming year, and it is an opportunity to communicate any questions or concerns you may have. The& survey will remain open until November 30th.

No Classes - Friday, November 6th (Date Corrected)

Please remember that next Friday, November 6th, there will be no classes. This is a report card writing day for teachers and they will be hard at work getting the reports ready for the end of the month. (In our original posted we stated the date as Friday November 4th. This is incorrect and to clear up any confusion we have posted this update to confirm that the actual date is Friday, November 6th)
