I was born in Moncton New-Brunswick and grew up in small town Campbellton N.-B. I completed a combined Education & Sciences degree at ‘Université de Moncton’ where I majored in Biology.
I have a deep passion for the outdoors: hiking, running and my new found interest in photography are activities that bring me closer to nature.
When I arrived in Yellowknife in 2012, the city far exceeded my expectations. I was overwhelmed by everything that this city had to offer as well as the warmth and welcoming nature of the people living in it.
This will be my third year here in Yellowknife and also my third year teaching at William MacDonald’s Middle School. I teach French immersion math and sciences. I find myself very fortunate to be able to begin my teaching career in a community where the level of involvement of the children and parents is incredibly motivating. I look forward to another wonderful year!
